It's important for us to give back to my local and global communities. We love to share fun things to do on Hwy4Fun. In addition, we like to participate and fundraise for the American Cancer Society's Calaveras County Relay For Life and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society's Team in Training Cross-Country Ski Program. In November of 2007 SierraSentry donated two laptops to needy children through the organization OLPC: One Laptop Per Child. Sandi is also a board member of The Ebbetts Pass Scenic Byway Association.
SierraSentry is also a proud participant in the Hwy 4 Adopt-A-Hwy Clean-up Program. The SierraSentry stretch of Hwy 4 runs from before Meko Drive to just past the slide area. Up and back it is over 6 miles in length. If you see trash along this stretch please let us know.
